From 1-2 April 2020, Canberra will play host to Food in the Capital, a first of its kind, sustainable food conference. The event sets out to connect people from across the industry including farmers, food businesses and manufacturers, community groups, thought leaders and policy makers.
The event will combine local, national and international experts to discuss the latest innovations in rural and urban farming, together with practical solutions to food production, transport and sales. The event will initiate the building of a unique city region agrifood cooperative.
Early bird tickets are now on sale until 31 December 2019, with special prices for farmers, food producers and community groups.
