Bioenergy Australia Webinar Series
Gas is an essential part of the energy mix and can play a strong role in providing sustainable and reliable energy to Australia, as long as it moves away from fossil sources.
Natural gas can be replaced by biogas, which is a renewable, reliable and local source of energy. Biogas is a source of energy that can be converted into heat, electricity or used as a transport fuel. Biogas can also be upgraded into biomethane: a gas with a chemical composition very similar to natural gas. Biomethane can be used directly on-site or injected into the gas grid and serve several uses for consumers such as heating, industrial purposes or fuel for gas vehicles.
Join the webinar to hear about how other countries are decarbonising their gas network and reducing waste with biomethane and to get some insights on the policies needed to drive the industry and the opportunities in Australia.
Everyone is welcome to join the webinar, in particular companies that are looking for green gas alternative, and new project investors.
