JOINT INDUSTRY LETTER CALLING FOR BIOENERGY INCLUSION IN LOW EMISSIONS TECHNOLOGY SUBMISSION

Joint industry coalition calls for sustainable aviation fuel and renewable gas to be included in the
Low Emissions Technology Statement

Over 80 organisations spanning energy, aviation, investment and banking, construction, agriculture, and research congratulate the Australian Federal Government on releasing Australia’s Bioenergy Roadmap late last year; the first of its kind in Australia and from a government that has committed more to bioenergy than any previous Australian government. Following the release of the roadmap we are now calling for the key emerging technologies in hard to abate sectors identified to be focussed areas of government investment through their inclusion in the Low Emissions Technology Statement (LETS).
