The ones to watch: Calling on emerging industries for RD&E investment

AgriFutures Australia is calling for applications from researchers, industry representative organisations or businesses and researchers involved in emerging agricultural industries for applying research, development and extension (RD&E) projects that aim increase the production capacity and value of their industry by to overcome technical, market, supply chain and biological constraints.
The AgriFutures™ Emerging Industries Program is dedicated to identifying and supporting the development of new and emerging rural industries that can meet changing demand and make a valuable economic, social and environmental contribution to Australia. The Program has set an ambitious goal to identify and support the emergence of agricultural industries that can reach or exceed a $10M per annum threshold over the next five years.
To meet this goal, the program is calling for researchers, representative organisations and businesses working in an emerging industries, to submit RD&E proposals to identify areas of potential RD&E investment.
