Australian Hydrogen Council (AHC)
Bioenergy Australia and Australian Hydrogen Council recognise the important role that renewable gas can play in a low carbon future, and will endeavour to work together to explore the potential for hydrogen and biomethane-based energy use across Australia. Where the goals and activities between Bioenergy Australia and the Australian Hydrogen Council are complementary and intersect, a strategic partnership is proposed to advance cooperation and collaboration between the two organisations.
Bioenergy Association of New Zealand (BANZ)
Bioenergy Australia and Bioenergy Association of New Zealand have jointed forces in a formal collaboration to develop the Australasian bioenergy market. The two organisations are using their respective strengths and capabilities for mutual advantage. In particular, they will be working together to develop, promote and deliver activities supporting the bioenergy sector, such as the Annual Bioenergy Australia Conference. They already have shared hosting of some technical based webinars; best practice Technical Guides are written for use in both countries; and they share technical support. Each association will undertake advocacy activities in their respective countries, but recognising that collective action is stronger than working alone, they will share the messages that resonate with stakeholders so that each country grows its bioeconomy.
Clean Energy Council (CEC)
The Clean Energy Council and Bioenergy Australia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to drive an increased level of understanding, uptake and engagement in renewable energy generation in Australia.
Energy Networks Australia (ENA)
Bioenergy Australia and Energy Networks Australia share common objectives in production, distribution and utilisation of low emissions gas, especially biogas. Based on these common elements, the organisations have signed an MOU to set out the principles of cooperation and provide a mechanism for collaboration.
Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA)
Bioenergy Australia and Water Services Association of Australia share common objectives. For both organisations, the promotion of bioenergy as one response to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, as well as its benefits to the circular economy, are key priorities. Based on these common elements, the organisations have signed an MOU to set out the principles of cooperation and provide a mechanism for collaboration.
