Tony Weber

Tony Weber is the Chief Executive of the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI), the peak body of the automotive industry in Australia. The FCAI represents more than 40 major automotive brands in the Australian market and presides over the industry statistical resource, VFACTS. Prior to joining the FCAI, Tony was a long-standing Government employee in the senior executive service of the Federal Government Industry Department. During this time Tony held positions in the areas of Innovation, Small Business, Manufacturing and Industry Policy. Tony’s previous work experience was in the Commonwealth Treasury in roles focussing on superannuation, taxation and Commonwealth-State relations. Tony graduated from the University of Canberra and holds formal qualifications in economics and public administration.
